The Filtreau Drumfilter is a low maintenance filter system that provides healthy, clear water, without the user having to perform daily maintenance. Also the Filtreau Drumfilter is having very less pressure loss and can be installed pump fed or gravity fed. The water will be filtered by the 70 micron INOX316L screen filter. When the screen filter is filled with dirt, algae, etc. there can't flow enough water through the screen filter. This will result in a lower water level in the clean chamber of the Filtreau Drumfilter. This will be detected and will switch the Filtreau Drumfilter automatically in cleaning mode.
The cleaning mode means that the filter screen will be fully cleaned and will flush all the dirt, algae, etc. into the sewer. After a few seconds, the screen filter will be clean and will let through enough water again, so the Filtreau Drumfilter will switch back into filtration mode. This sophisticated filtration system comes standard with a 40W UV-C Amalgam lamp. The built-in UV-C Module ensures crystal clear water. The sophisticated design and high quality materials result in high intensity UV-C radiation with a wavelength of exactly 253.7 nm.
