Vac Dried Salt |

Salt is an excellent disinfectant at the rate of 1/2oz per gallon of water and is ideal as a general treatment for parasites and disease. It is harmless to fish (don't overdose) and won't harm your filters. However, we do not geneally recommend the use of salt in the pond unless absolutely necessary because it will interact with other treatments should they need to be used.
CAUTION
- Do not use table salt or salt that contains an 'anti caking agent', which can kill fish.
