The oldest and most popular method of filtration is sand - Dirt is driven through the sand bed and trapped in minute spaces between the particles of sand.
Micron filters come with a Multiport valve to control the flow of water within the vessel.
Cleansing the filter simply requires a turn of the Multiport lever to the backwash position. The flow is then reversed through the sand bed flushing all the trapped particles out to the drain.
SM500 - 500mm/20" - (3000gls) - 90kg Sand *
